Welcome to my quilt blog! I have been buzzing around like crazy making quilts, quilts, quilts.....I am so glad to have finally taken my passion to create to quilt making and not cooking! With all this energy, I'd be 400 pounds by now. I started sewing in grade school, boy were some of those skirts and blouses ugly. Remember when you made your own prom dress? Yep, thats how old I am. I'm blessed to be the mother of 3, a son and 2 daughters, who grew up with the phrase "Because I said so". I didn't drop any of them on their head despite my young mothering years and they are wonderful to me in return. I have a beautiful 16 year old granddaughter and a blue-eyed, long-lashed, giggly 3 month old grandson. My family is my life-line. I hope you enjoy some of the fun projects that I have been working on!

All about Ada B

My mom has been my inspiration to sew for many years. She made all our clothes for school and church. After my dad passed, mom would go to Texas in the winter and visit her sisters. The four of them: Alvis, Alta Belle, Ada B and Elna would quilt all winter including the long arm quilting. Mom brought her passion to quilt back home each year until I finally got the bug...or in my case, I got the "bee". Unfortunately, Mom passed away rather suddenly and never got to see one of my finished quilts. I like to think she sees all of them now as I remember her humor and guidance with every quilt I make. I miss you every day mom.
